PRAYER CONCERNS

CHRISTIAN SYMPATHY to the FAMILY and FRIENDS of:

Betty Rose Jefferson, 87, of Lesage, WV, whose funeral was Sat., July 30. She was the mother of Pastor Jamie Jefferson of Oak Hill UBI Church.

HOSPITALIZED:

Jakob Caudill, Cardinal Hill, Lexington, Ky. He is improving daily following a traumatic head injury suffered on July 4.

Harvey Foster, SMMC. He is being evaluated for blood pressure issues and kidney/bladder issues. He is the father of Glen Foster.

Denny Wilson, CH-H, ICU. He has an ulcer and tests are being run for cancer. He is a friend of Linda Lafferre.

Mike Woodard has some health concerns.

HEALTH CONCERNS:

Gary Adkins has skin cancer and will have a biopsy of his lymph nodes soon.

Dave Benedict continues to have problems with his foot.

Russell & Barbara Blake continue to need prayers, and love to have visitors.

Shelia Braley has been battling with a bad hip but is improving some.

Alfred Burns is now residing in Wayne Nursing & Rehab Center, following a short hospital stay for COVID.

Dave Chapman continues to have some health issues. Pray for Linda too.

Greg Elkins, co-worker of Marc Chapman, has pancreatic cancer. Jack Dailey, son of Naomi Dailey, has heart disease and is not doing well.

The Dillon Family returned from vacation and are now home with COVID.

Charlie Flowers is on dialysis and now has prostate cancer and bone cancer.

Linda Lafferre is home from a brief hospital stay.

Karen Little, a good friend of Linda Laferre, is undergoing tests.

Scott Simms continues to take chemotherapy.

Danny Morrison and his co-workers at Steel of WV have COVID.

Willow Morrison, great- granddaughter of Patty Morrison has COVID.

Molly Perry asks prayer for her cousin who has cancer and is being assisted by Hospice. She also asks prayer for her uncle who has lung cancer.

Kathy Ryder had a bone marrow transplant on Wed., July 27.

Chris Valentine, brother of Tonya Jarvis, is very ill with undiagnosed symptoms.

Ruby & Phil Young continue to need our prayers

The MISSION PROJECT for July is School Supplies for Ona Elementary School. We are aware that some children are not able to afford the things they need in class. With our donation, school staff will purchase and wisely distribute supplies. If you wish to help support this project, write Ona Elem on the memo line of your check. Thanks!

Looking Ahead

Sat., Sept. 10 – Adult Ministries will sponsor a viewing of the MU vs. Notre Dame football game in the Family Center, complete with concessions.
Fri. – Sun. – Sept. 30 – Oct. 2 – Fall Camp-a-Rama at Beech Fork State Park.
Sat., Dec. 3, 6pm – Church Christmas Dinner.
