CHRISTIAN SYMPATHY to the FAMILY and FRIENDS of:
Melvin Philip Young, 84, of Milton, WV, whose funeral is Mon., Aug. 29., 1 pm with visitation from 12 pm – 1 pm at Wallace Funeral Home in Milton. He is survived by his loving wife Ruby, step-son, David Cantrell, and many friends in our church.
Phil was a devoted, faithful member of Beulah Ann and will be missed.
HOSPITALIZED:
Charlie Flowers, CH-H, rm.# 2913. He had surgery this week for the removal of a blood clot.
Butch Vititoe, CH-H, rm. # 5915. He is being evaluated for several health conditions.
HEALTH CONCERNS:
Gary Adkins has a tumor and will see a specialist soon.
Sarah Adkins and her niece Sandy both have COVID.
Viola Adkins is being treated for a bad case of shingles, which are healing. She’s still in lots of pain.
Brandi and Brayden Benedict have COVID.
Dave Benedict continues to have problems with his foot. He has a loose tendon and may have to wear a boot for the rest of his life.
Jack Dailey, son of Naomi Dailey, had a difibulator/pacemaker installed this week.
Charlene Litteral has recovered from gall bladder surgery, and Sam is going for some tests in Lexington, KY soon.
Pastor Greg and Jeanne Lunsford had COVID this week.
Patty Morrison has COVID.
Peggy Neal is still having issues with her shoulder.
Mollie Perry asks prayer for her cousin, Ritchie, who is responding somewhat better to his treatments for brain cancer. She also asks prayer for herself for continued strength and guidance.
Kathy Ryder is home following a bone marrow transplant. Please call ahead if you plan to visit, as there are some restrictions.
Carolyn Shaver, mother of Cassie Maynor, is being evaluated for cancer treatments. Radiation is not a possibility.

Thurs., Sept. 1 – Widows, Widowers, and Singles (WOW) Meeting at Alliene Caldwell’s House. There will be food, games, and a planning meeting for another rummage sale. (Donations are still being accepted.)
Tues., Sept. 6,13,20,27, 10 am -Sew Blest, Family Center.
Thurs., Sept. 8, 6 pm – In Stitches Quilt Group will resume.
(New Meeting time will be every Thursday at 6 pm.)
Sat., Sept. 10, 8 am – Youth Ministries will leave to go work at Facing Hunger Food Bank in Huntington, until noon. They will pack boxes to be distributed at various drop off points. They need the following items to take with them: Hamburger Helper, Pasta, Rice and Rice packets, and pinto beans. Thanks!
Sat., Sept. 10, 1:30 pm (Game starts at 2:30 pm) – Adult Ministries will sponsor a viewing of the MU vs. Notre Dame Football game in the Family Center, complete with concessions. Bring a lawn chair if you like.
