Robert “Bob” Wellman, 78, of Kenova, WV, whose funeral will be 1 pm Mon., Oct. 30 at Buffalo Valley Baptist Church. He was a friend of Butch Vititoe.

The MISSION PROJECT for October is Love in a Shoebox Postage. Samaritan’s Purse continues to share the eternal hope of the Gospel and serve in Jesus’ name through Operation Christmas Child. They want boys and girls around the world to know God loves them and has not forgotten them during this time of fear and uncertainty. The cost of shipping is $10 per box. Daily Bible Reading Calendars for 2023 are on the foyer tables, courtesy of Evangelistic Outreach. There will also be a schedule to read through the Bible chronologically. The WVBC ABWM Bible Book of the Month for October is I Corinthians.

TONIGHT:  6 pm – Jesus Kids Practice.

 It’s “SOCKTOBER”! Youth Ministries will be collecting socks and underwear for the Huntington City Mission throughout the month of October. Socks & underwear (new) may be left in the foyer or can be given to the teens or to the leaders. Thanks!

ABWM October Community Outreach Project: Lily’s Place. We are collecting these items form their “wish list” – liquid hand soap, Johnson baby wash, baby bottle brushes, and diaper rash cream. If you would like to help, please place these items in the basket in the foyer. Thanks for your help!

Congratulations: Leigh Blankenship & John Hagley were married yesterday, and Lexi Dillon & Levi Mitchell, were also married yesterday!

Our new radio ministry, “Child-like Faith,” begins tomorrow, Oct. 30 at 7:45 am. It will air every Monday at this same time. Be sure to listen to Pastor Greg as he brings the gospel message in hopes of winning more to Jesus.
