The MISSION PROJECT for May is Camp Cowen. Donations will be used to send our students to camp this summer. (Camp schedules are listed in this bulletin.) Applications can be completed online, or you can get one from the youth leaders or church secretary. If you wish to contribute, please write Camp Cowen on the memo of your check. Thanks!
Daily Bible Reading Calendars for 2024 are on the foyer tables, courtesy of Evangelistic Outreach. There will also be a schedule to read through the Bible chronologically. The WVBC ABWM Bible Book of the Month for May is Hebrews.
Children’s Ministry: Grandparents, aunts, and uncles, if you would like a special VBS postcard invitation sent to someone, give the name and address to Leigh Bellomy. Thanks!

The ABWM Community Outreach Project for May is new sweatpants, sweatshirts, and disposable underwear for both men and women. (Sweatpants should be elastic, not drawstring). These will be going to Cabell Health Care in Culloden. (Many patients here do not have family who can or will supply them with their needs.) Please place all donations in the basket in the foyer. Thank You!

Sun. – Thursday, June 2-6, 5:30-8 pm – Children’s Ministries Vacation Bible School. This year’s theme is “Twists & Turns”.
**Sun. – Thurs. June 2–6, 5:30-8 pm – Youth Ministries Vacation Bible School. The theme is “Invested.” They need new coloring books (adult’s and children’s), crayons, colored pencils, and puzzle books, such as word search and crosswords.
**Sun., June 2, 6 pm – ABWM meeting in the Family Center dining room, ABMM in the Caldwell Classroom. (Last meeting before summer break.)
**Sun., June 9 – Newsletter Deadline. Please submit articles about school awards and graduations, including sports and extracurricular activities.

**Sat., June 22, 4 pm – “Dinner on the Ground,” a picnic at the picnic shelter. The Church will furnish hamburgers, hot dogs, buns, and condiments. Please bring picnic side dishes and desserts. Four young preachers from this church will speak: Jason Salmons, Tim Messinger, Jeff Fetty, and Tracy Mills.

CHRISTIAN SYMPATHY to the FAMILY and FRIENDS of:
Donna Jean Lucas, 86, of Milton, who passed away May 11. She was the sister of the late Fred Lunsford.
Larry Steven Stratton, 74, of Milton, passed away May 11. He was a friend to many in the church.
Brian “Berger” Weinberger, 55, of Huntington, passed away May 8. He was the husband of Susan Collins Weinberger, daughter of Vivian Collins.
