The ABWM Community Outreach Project for June is newborn socks, paper towels, and reuseable shopping bags. These items will go to Lily’s Place to be used as care packages forbabies as they prepare to go home with their parents, or as the need arises.Please place items in the basket in the foyer. Thanks!
Sesquicentennial Quilt: Please stop by the foyer table to sign a block for the quilt. (We would like to have at least one block per family.) Please do this ASAP. Blocks will be on the table until June. 30th. (Someone will be at the table to assist you.) Thanks!
JUNE EVENTS
On Sat., June 22, 4 pm, we will have “Dinner on the Ground,” the first of our events to celebrate our 150th Anniversary. Due to the forecast of temps in the mid-nineties and high humidity, we will picnic in the Family Center! Hamburgers and hot dogs and all the fixins’ will be furnished. Please bring picnic side dishes and desserts. Four young preachers from this church will speak (15 minutes or so each): Jason Salmons, Tim Messinger, Jeff Fetty, and Tracy Mills. Special music by Jacob Marshall. We will top it off the event with homemade ice cream!

Sat., June 29, 5 pm – Arthur Cemetery Ice Cream Social, at the Bond residence. (Cranking on Thurs., June 27 at 5 pm, help welcome.) Also, donations of desserts welcome.
