CHRISTIAN SYMPATHY to the FAMILY and FRIENDS of:

JOE MICHAEL FINCHAM, 74, of Lesage, passed away July 14. He is survived by his wife Lola and five children. He was a good friend of several in the church.

Portraits are being scheduled for Thurs., Aug. 8, 2-8:30 pm; Fri., Aug. 9, 2-8:30 pm, Sat., Aug. 10, 10 am – 4 pm, and Mon., and a new date, Mon., Aug. 12, 2-8:30 pm. See Jennifer Hanson in the foyer, or use the QR code in this bulletin to sign-up on line. Also, volunteers are needed on each of these days to check people in. See Jennifer.

Sat., July 27, 4 pm – Willing Workers Class Meeting at Ed & Debbie Dillon’s swimming pool. The Dillons will furnish hot dogs/hamburgers, please bring picnic sides. (They live on Fudges Creek, 3.5 miles out, with “Dillon” sign in front yard.)

Sun., Dec. 29, 11:00 – Sesquicentennial Celebration! Opening of the 1999 Time Capsule, followed by dinner with a special cake, and the display of our new quilt!

Have you seen the BANNERS made for the 125^th Anniversary, hanging in the balcony area? Aren’t they beautiful? The 150^th Anniversary Committee would like for each Sunday School Class and group to make a banner for our December 26 150^th Anniversary. We would like them to be more uniform this time, so we will supply the material, then you can add your creativity to it! Please see Pastor Greg, Jo Ross, Duane Adkins, Pat Grass or Becky Childers, and we will get you the material to get you started.
