The MISSION PROJECT for September is Love in a Shoebox Postage. Samaritan’s Purse continues to share the eternal hope of the Gospel and serve in Jesus’ name through Operation Christmas Child. Thurs., Sept. 26, 5:30 pm – Guyandotte Association Annual Meeting, at 26th Street Baptist Church. Soup & Salad Dinner at 5:30, meeting at 6 pm. Our delegates are Greg & Jeanne Lunsford, Tom & Susan McComas, Jo Ross, and alternate Jim Ross. One additional alternate may be named. Everyone is invited to attend.

CHRISTIAN SYMPATHY to the FAMILY and FRIENDS OF:
Kathy Jo Hedrick, 50, of Huntington, passed away Sept. 16. She was a friend and co-worker of Daphne Scarberry.
Dwight Kirby, 80, of Glenwood, passed away Sept. 16. He was a former Milton Volunteer Firefighter, and friend to many in the church.Ryder Shortridge, 9, of Barboursville, lost his life in an ATV accident Monday, Sept. 16. He is survived by his parents Josh and Joni Shortridge, his twin, and two other twin siblings. Josh is a co-worker of several Beulah Anners who work at the Courthouse.
