Chili Cook-off a Great Success
The recent Chili Cookoff was a tremendous success, raising more than $3,200 for Knights Great Hall at Cabell Midland High School!
We appreciate everyone who made a pot or donated to this worthy cause! The Lord provides and we are blessed to give.
Keeley Carter won for the pot that generated the largest donation. It cannot be confirmed that ballot stuffing was involved, but it was encouraged!
Debbie Dillion’s pot was selected as the Judge’s Choice winner! Both Keeley and Debbie received a Blenk water bottle for their victories!

Blood Drive Collects 29 Precious Gifts
Snow and ice scuttled our plans to host a blood drive in March, but conditions were much better in July. More than thirty volunteers answered the call to donate life-saving blood on July 9, 2022.
Red Cross workers were well pleased with the turnout and encouraged the church to host again soon. What a blessing that 29 pints of blood were donated! Thank you to everyone who participated in making this a worthwhile, God-honoring event!
Camp-a-Rama Food, Fun, Fellowship
Approximately twenty (campers) trekked the twisted trail to Beech Fork State Park for Beulah Ann’s Spring Camp-A-Rama at the end of April. Roughly sixty persons accompanied those campers and enjoyed a weekend of great fun, food, and fellowship. Due to the abundance of rain, there was little fishing to be had.
However, the weather cleared up in time for the Saturday evening cookout! Approximately fifty-five joined in the experience and ate all they could hold. Thank you to everyone who cooked, baked, bought, or brought dishes to enjoy. It was delicious! Keep your eye on the Bulletin for dates for Fall Camp-A-Rama!
