VBS Fun, Food, Fellowship & Jesus

Vacation Bible School 2022 provided lots of excitement and some firsts. There were first-time decisions of faith made by several campers! Praise the Lord! We had multiple food trucks deliver after-school snacks, and we had Sunday School classes provide before-school meals so families wouldn’t have to go long periods of time between meals! It was a filling VBS in nearly every way!

We also had to postpone VBS for two days! A violent storm roared through the Ona area Monday evening as we were wrapping up our first night. Power was knocked out to our area, and unfortunately, the high temperatures and lack of cooling stations required that we not meet on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings. However, fourteen adults gathered in the dining room for Wednesday evening services, and as we exited the building after the service, the power came back on! God is right on time, every time!

We are so thankful for everyone who came to VBS. The kids were amazing, and the parents were fantastic, but the engine that drives the VBS bus are those amazing workers who spend months preparing, planning, putting up, and breaking down everything that goes into such an event. Dealing with so many obstacles, they continue to accomplish extraordinary things for the kingdom of God. Their love of Jesus Christ and others shines in everything they do and we at Beulah Ann are blessed beyond measure for their gracious labor of love.
